The ParkHotel in Hall in Tirol is a bit of a classic for us. We have used it on both business trips and romantic holidays and pretty much every time we visited Tyrol, Innsbruck and its surroundings.

While we recently reviewed the Penz Hotel in the center of Innsbruck, the ParkHotel is located in the quiet but charming and beautiful village of Hall in Tirol, about fifteen minutes away from Innsbruck.

The hotel basically consists of two parts, an old white building and a rather new tower. While the old part of the hotel has decent rooms, the tower is a much more comfortable place to stay in where you will be able to enjoy nice views over the mountains and a more modern decor. On the downside, in both parts of the ParkHotel the rooms are rather small and do not exactly cater for an extended stay. Nevertheless, it is our favorite option in Tyrol to stay for three or four nights.

Besides, the real asset of the ParkHotel is without any doubt its wonderful terrace lit by the dim lights of the tower and overlooking the Tyrollean mountains. Add lounge music in the background and a refreshing cocktail in your hand and you will have a perfect setting to spend a romantic evening with your partner.
